We always aim to meet your needs and exceed expectations. To keep things clear for both of us, it’s important to document what we each commit to.
You hire Sitelane to build a website for the agreed price. After full payment you own the site. We offer different packages with monthly or yearly billing that include hosting, care and support.
You confirm that you’re authorised to enter this agreement. You provide all required materials on time, respond within agreed deadlines and keep the project moving. You also accept the payment schedule tied to your subscription.
We have the experience to deliver everything promised, in a professional and timely manner. We work towards every deadline and treat your information confidentially.
Typical build time is four to six weeks depending on scope. Extras such as copywriting or additional pages can add up to two business days per item. Extensive custom work usually adds three weeks. Client responses ideally arrive within one business day; delays extend the schedule.
The number of pages in your package, on-page SEO, responsive design for desktop/tablet/mobile and custom forms. Custom projects include limited revision rounds; template sites do not support layout changes, though you can adjust media, colours and content.
Custom builds include two rounds on the initial concept. Extra revisions are billed separately. Once the main concept is approved we build the remaining pages in that style. Template sites don’t allow layout tweaks; only copy, colours and imagery can change.
Premium hosting, SSL, backups, uptime monitoring, software updates, unlimited content edits and support whenever you need it.
Request updates at any time. Issues caused by Sitelane are fixed free of charge; third-party issues may require extra time and fees.
You get a dedicated contact. We prefer to work with one representative from your organisation. Collect internal feedback before sharing it with us.
We deliver according to professional standards but can’t guarantee a flawless result. Liability is capped at what you paid for the relevant services (max the past six months). We exclude indirect or consequential damages.
After full payment you own the site, including content and functionality. We may reuse generic techniques and showcase the project in our portfolio unless agreed otherwise.
You may grant third parties access, but we’re not responsible for issues they cause. We’ll help where possible, potentially at extra cost.
We may feature elements of the project in our portfolio and mention that Sitelane built the site. Removing this credit incurs a €250 fee.
Templates aren’t exclusive. If another organisation choses the same template we’ll differentiate with imagery and colours or suggest a custom option.
Scope is defined by the package you pick. Additional pages, content or features fall outside the base price and extend the schedule.
After subscribing, deliver all necessary information and media at once. We start only after onboarding is complete.
Copywriting is optional. Please specify special requests upfront; technical revisions afterwards aren’t included.
If you provide copy, you’re responsible for completeness and delivering it according to our guidelines.
We aim to go live as soon as possible, even if a few details remain, so the site can start creating value.
Your payment method is charged automatically each month or year according to your package.
Ending early triggers a 50% fee on the remaining balance. After payment we terminate the contract and site.
If payment is 30 days overdue we pause the site. Once arrears plus a €50 reactivation fee are settled we bring it back online.
You can cancel with one month’s notice (unless agreed otherwise). Cancellation must be in writing.
You are responsible for complying with relevant privacy laws and policies. We can publish texts but cannot ensure their legal validity.
Dutch law applies to every agreement. Disputes are handled by the competent court in our district.
In legal disputes the prevailing party may recover reasonable attorney fees from the other party.
Each party indemnifies the other against third-party claims arising from a material breach of this agreement.
